Blanches Banques and St Ouen's Bay

The area has a number of ancient remains including Neolithic menhirs and an ossuary, although it is though that earlier Mesolithic people must have used the area as many artefacts have been found at either end of the bay. There is also evidence of later Chalcolithic and Bronze Age settlement. These recent finds continue to give us more insight into the lives of our ancestors living close to the coastline as sea levels changed.
