A short video of the Battery.

Battery Lothringen is situated on the headland at Noirmont, which having been purchased on behalf of the Public of the Island of Jersey as a memorial to all the Islanders who lost their lives during the Second World War.
Another interesting aspect of the headland is that previous occupiers include Neolithic people who erected a megalithic dolmen, Iron Age people who had a promontory fort there and the British military, who had gun batteries around the lower parts of the headland and an artillery Martello tower in the Napoleonic era.
